I am a co-rabbi at Congregation Sha'are Shalom in Waldorf, MD, where I conduct Shabbat morning services and offer other programming. On a volunteer basis, I conduct monthly Friday night Shabbat services, Torah study, and occasional additional programming at a retirement community, Goodwin House Alexandria. I officiate at funerals and unveilings and have trained Bar Mitzvah students and performed a baby naming.

Weddings

I can officiate at your wedding, whether it be Jewish or interfaith, whatever your gender identification.

Conversions

If you are interested in converting to Judaism and living a Jewish life for any reason, I would be happy to assist you in your conversion.

Funerals, Memorial Services, and Unveilings

Your loved one deserves honor and respect within the Jewish tradition. We can work together to tailor any of these ceremonies to your preferences.

Brit Milah or Bat Simcha

I can help you usher your new baby into the Jewish community by officiating at a service in the synagogue or the hospital or your home.

Bar or Bat Mitzvah

Do you and your child want this rite of passage ceremony? Have you personally always dreamed of becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah? We can craft a program suitable to your interests and background.

Lectures, Workshops, Individual Study

Perhaps your group would like a speaker on a topic of Jewish interest. I have a broad range of experience with such speaking engagements. I would also enjoy working with you individually to map out a plan of study for you that suits your interests and then studying with you according to that plan.

If you are like most of us, you are on a quest for spiritual meaning in your life. I am traveling that same path, have devoted a great deal of thought to this area, and would be happy to consult with you.

I can teach online, either for a group or for an individual, or would be willing to travel within the metropolitan area if you wish to meet in person.
